My Old School
After years of crazed hemp necklaces, jean skirts and trending lime green, highlighter pink Kangaroo sneakers I am in the midst of uncovering authentic style and frictional design. At nineteen, I have found myself more and more drawn to the moving, good-humored direction design offers. My personal look at interior styling and design roots from my mother’s classic eye and elegant style. Illustrated within my childhood home and room here at the University of Arizona you can find a key resemblance. Other than the tactically trodden, firmed, fluffed pillows on my mothers living room couch and my daybed, our design ages in a timeless manner.
Thirty-two years apart and her style, like mine will continue to evolve but will never fall out of date. My three-ring design binder compiled with silverware and wallpaper to boots and Bardot is stuff that I like. Style is independence, spirit to be bold and embrace the red binding of the book on the coffee table. What follows is timeless.
I bought this Men’s rugby shirt a couple weeks ago at Brooks Brother’s. I have been looking for a rugby shirt for almost a year now. It’s old school purple, yellow and green bring me back…
