Good Morning

I am in college and I had ice cream for dinner. When it comes to food I eat when I am hungry and I'm hungry for the homemade, fresh, spicy, chocolate, savory, authentic. I live for those darn good meals and the pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving. I think culinary arts becomes too formal for something so sensory. When you find something you're passionate for, don't label it. I say cooking for the sake of time and my lack of patience but what I mean is something only I will ever understand. It's not cooking to me; it's a sense of mastery, texture, a pot luck of flavor, pure concentration, integrity. The satisfaction comes after when you least expect it. In cooking I forget about the consequences, praise, I just do it and the satisfaction is an honest surprise every time. Be bold, discover a gift and grasp it. Change it for the better, define it according to who? You.
Although heartfelt, I still have one thing on my mind after a light dinner: Breakfast :)
